Exploration Seismics

Computational wave propagation in reservoirs need to go far beyond elastic linear elastic modelling which is more or less a standard today. To be able to monitor the temporal behaviour of reservoirs effects such as changes in porosity, fluid flow, changes in anisotropy, internal stresses, additional methods are necessary.  The goal is to incorporate  these rheologies into the modeling tools and investigate their relevance to exploration problems.
