Getting to Cargese
Ajaccio is the nearest airport to Cargèse and is connected by several daily flights to Paris and other European cities. Please visit the Ajaccio airport website for a list of airlines serving the area. For other means of traveling to Cargèse visit the towns webpage.
A shuttle bus will be organized from Ajaccio to Cargèse on Sunday, May 13th and from Cargèse to Ajaccio on Saturday, May the 19th. In order to help us to plan our bus schedule from/to the airport to/from Cargèse, please tell us as soon as possible at what time you expect to arrive at the airport in Ajaccio, with your flight number.
Alternatively Cargèse can be reached by bus and by taxi. There are regular buses from Ajaccio bus station to Cargèse twice a day (except on Sundays):
Ajaccio to Cargèse: 08:45 and 16:00
Cargèse to Ajaccio: 08:45 and 15:30
The bus station, which is also the maritime station, can be reached via shuttle from Ajaccio airport. The Ajaccio airport webpage also provides information on local bus timetables.
Taxi service from the airport to Cargèse costs approximately €80 for normal transfer and 95 € for early, late and non working day transfer and takes less than one hour.
