EGU06 - January 13 - dead line for abstracts
January 13
We wish to invite you to contribute to symposium SM5 Computational wave propagation (description below).
Guidelines regarding the abstract format, submission and oral/poster presentations are available on the Assembly Web Site (http://meetings.copernicus.org/egu2006/how_to_submit_an_abstract.html).
We look forward to receiving your contribution and hope to see you in Wien in April.
Regards, Marco Stupazzini, stupa@geophysik.uni-muenchen.de Gaetano Festa, festa@ipgp.jussieu.fr
SM5 Computational wave propagation This session focuses on recent developments in any aspects of methods and applications of computational wave propagation. Special emphasis is given on (1) algorithms that allow simulations on unstructured or adaptive grids; (2) extreme model complexities (e.g., rough topography, non-planar faults, strong heterogeneities); (3) non-standard rheologies (e.g., porous media, visco-plasticity); and (4) innovative implementations (e.g., www-based techniques, GRID execution). The session is sponsored by the EU funded SPICE network (www.spice-rtn.org).
