PhD position in Solid Earth Geophysics
PhD Student Position in Seismology in the Department of Earth and
Planetary Sciences, Harvard University.
Applications and inquiries are invited from highly-qualified and
motivated students wishing to pursue a PhD degree in Solid Earth
Geophysics (Seismology). Opportunities exist in global and theoretical
seismology, and geophysical tomography including GPS data analysis. The
applicants should have strong analytical and computational skills with a
background in physics, geophysics, applied mathematics, engineering,
computer science, or related fields. Once enrolled, all graduate
students are provided financial support, including research
assistantship stipend, full tuition and computer purchase/travel
